The cheap drinks make rounds less onerous for large groups. Most of these types of night out seem to involve meeting up in a Wetherspoons. Or maybe its just the jobs I've had.<BR/><BR/>As for Wetherspoons policy for new openings. They seem to convert buildings for use as a pub rather than buy existing pubs, and open larger establishments than a traditional cosy local. I expect this works out cost efficient and/or allows for a pile it high, sell it cheap model, adopting a lower cost supply chain.<BR/><BR/>Either way it works. They are opening pubs whilst others are closing. I'd love to hear what you think of the 99p pint offer. Bland beer sold irresponsibly or an effective tool to convert smooth drinkers to cask and take on Tesco?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
