So they are aiming to give each pub a distinctive "theme", of which "Ale Shrine" is one, and not to have more than one pub of each type in each pub.

They have done the Blossoms up very tastefully, but to my mind it's basically just a local boozer and not somewhere many people would go out of their way to visit. At the end of a recent Stagger, at least one beer was vinegary on Friday night, suggesting they have more beers on than they can sell.Curmudgeonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02558747878308766840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5623537812609722663.post-45382018847571787742012-09-04T22:23:27.146+01:002012-09-04T22:23:27.146+01:00Worst seating seen recently was in the Brew Dog, w...Worst seating seen recently was in the Brew Dog, which if an attempt to get me to leave after a (very good) pint worked superbly.

NB What's the "Ale Shrine" concept ?Martin, Cambridgenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5623537812609722663.post-45877432662541771372012-08-25T19:23:23.854+01:002012-08-25T19:23:23.854+01:00Well, if what we read about "smoky-drinkies&q...Well, if what we read about "smoky-drinkies" is true, more and more people are doing just that.Curmudgeonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02558747878308766840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5623537812609722663.post-10447516095196883642012-08-25T19:17:46.984+01:002012-08-25T19:17:46.984+01:00Build your own pub in your shed. I agree with you that by and large it is a good thing, though there are cases where it doesn't work so well.Tandlemanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06804499573827044693noreply@blogger.com
