It was just a shame that not everyone could make it that day. Sounds great, you can't beat Bass and Pedi when well kept and Uttoxeter is in a very good time warp!
One mile walk rebuffed!!! Love the comment in the last boozer where he had even outed Pete as a real ale drinker!
Sounds like a top day..
Britain Beermat Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5623537812609722663.post-48016203643004357242019-06-20T05:57:03.562+01:002019-06-20T05:57:03.562+01:00"He said that he was fortunate to be married ..."He said that he was fortunate to be married to someone who literally drove him to drink!"

(slow golf clap) :)

"we weren’t convinced it would have really justified the walk out of town"

Not when there's 8 or 9 to choose all close together!

"and made our way to the Old Star on Queen Street,"

I know it's a bit cliché but from the photo that, to me, looks like your typical English pub.

"found out that in Uttoxeter it’s best to stick to Bass or Pedi as they’re likely to turn over much quicker. As with all Jennings beers, they're only any good when they're fresh and go off at the drop of a hat. electricpicshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09144970068645280352noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5623537812609722663.post-44234193659268609082019-06-19T17:01:54.759+01:002019-06-19T17:01:54.759+01:00Sounds like you enjoyed the music as much as the B...Sounds like you enjoyed the music as much as the Bass!

Sorry to have missed that one. retiredmartinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15429804437739227082noreply@blogger.com
