Falling on stony ground?

You may well have noticed from various blog links in the sidebar that a major protest is taking place tomorrow (Saturday 16 July) in Stony Stratford, against the proposals by Councillor Paul Bartlett (the guy in the picture) to ban smoking on the streets of the town.

Full details can be found on Dick Puddlecote’s blog.

I won’t be there, as I already have another commitment, but I offer those taking part my full support.

  1. There's a councillor who wants to ban smoking in the gardens in front of Southport town hall. As someone who has never smoked, I ask "Why?"

Letter to the local rag coming on, I think, unless someone has beaten me to it.
